APOLLO CAN READ YO' FUCKIN' MIIINNDDDDDD!!!
No, not really.
Apollo has the uncanny ability to be able to hone in on even the tiniest physical changes that come with lying. If you've got a habit when you fib, you dirty liar, Apollo's likely going to catch ya!
But not to worry! Polly hasn't quite mastered this skill yet, so he may not always be able to pick up on a lie. He may feel like you're lying, but if he can't nick out a habit or find it may not be relevant, he may not pursue it at all. (He might just straight up ask.)
That said, please fill out the following permissions form so that I can have all these fancy details when they are communicating!
The last portion of that is for something your character has practically perfected concealing in conversation. (ex. They clobbered someone to death with a purple drank bottle; wear Blue Badger suits for fun; etc.)
As the mun, I may know they're lying, but if they've got a cold stance on a specific topic and can't be cracked, Apollo may not have a clue unless something else has already given him a reason to think otherwise.
NOTE
Network posts will be harder for Apollo to perceive a liar through. He can't very well zoom his keen eyesight in on a bunch of pixels and hope for the same results, but if the habit is noticeable through a video post, he may catch it, depending on what it is, of course. (i.e. If he can't see their legs and they have a habit of bobbing their foot when they're lying, he won't really pick that sort of thing up.)

Habits When Lying?: Slight narrowing of the eyes, pursing of the lips, glancing to the left, crossing of her arms. But she also does all these things when she's irritated so OOOH IT IS A MYSTERY. But then AGAIN, she's more likely to lie when she's irritated. Not revealing the truth is another matter entirely.
Any unbreakable topics?: NOT THAT I CAN... THINK OF... If they come up, I will tell you.
Character: Casey
Habits When Lying?: Almost never lies. When she does, it's just to see someone's reaction, and you can't even tell because she's too lazy to move a single muscle half the time. GOOD LUCK POLLY.
Any unbreakable topics?: Not really. She'll fess up to lying if someone calls her out on saying something dumb.
Character: Mary
Habits When Lying?: Looking away, frowning, trailing off, long pauses, changing the topic, excessive fake cheer, destruction of whatever items are at hand.
Any unbreakable topics?: She is an open book, honestly. She tries not to be but she fails.
Character: Aquenda
Habits When Lying?: Generally pretty honest. She bites her lip and stutters when she's nervous, and lying makes her super nervous. She's even bad at little white lies like "oh yeah that's a great haircut."

Habits When Lying?: Fedex has the most expressive face ever okay. He just... is a ball of body language all the time.

Habits When Lying?: Touching the back of his neck, long pauses, breaks in speech, defensive behavior.
Any unbreakable topics?: Naoto's undercover identity, but LOL we kind of discussed that on Plurk.
Character: Chell
Habits When Lying?: LOL SHE DOESN'T TALK. Her communication is either through body language or very short texts. The two don't coincide. But basically, Chell isn't going to lie. She's just... not going to speak about the things she doesn't want to speak about. Which is everything.
Any unbreakable topics?: LOL SHE DOESN'T TALK, DUMMY.
Character: Byrne
Habits When Lying?: Eyes shifting to the side, mumbling. But Byrne really isn't a liar except when it comes to his own emotions. (i.e. he's going to lie about not being afraid when he is afraid, about not being in love when he is in love, etc.) He usually keeps a straight face when he says these things, but maybe his eyes squint a little bit and he mutters slightly, idk. Not really perceivable except to those who either know him or who are really attuned to body language.
Any unbreakable topics?: Not really. If we have to get into like, specifics of his past or something, then talk to me first.

Character: Samus
Habits When Lying?: Samus is normally not very expressive which makes it difficult to tell when she's lying, telling the truth, or simply amused. She might pause a little longer before answering a question or she might cross her arms if there's something she might seriously want to conceal. If it's something really personal she can get flustered, blush, become more stubborn and irritable, ect. USUALLY, she's pretty stone cold line-face about everything and will purposefully give Apollo a hard time if he pries too hard and too fast. That said, Samus will more likely omit the truth or neglect to mention the whole story than outright lie. Due to the nature of her (bounty hunting) profession and her deeply ingrained trust issues, sometimes this is intentional and sometimes this is actually accidental. She's just NATURALLY SECRETIVE but she is an advocate of the truth and especially of justice--you just need to earn it with her.
Any unbreakable topics?: I'm gonna link you over to Casey's permission post because basically Samus is fair game! She's got a lot of secrets and only a few that I'd like to remain so (robo suit running gag, ect). Like if Apollo ever found out who "Justin Bailey" is but never told Char that would be especially excellent with me.

Character: Raiden
Habits When Lying?: Raiden is the poor sap who gets lied to for an entire game. Raiden can be very guarded but he's fairly easy to read. He might stutter, speak with more filled pauses, become irritable or defensive, cross his arms, or avoid eye contact, but probably the most telling thing is he'll change the subject. He often deals with things by avoidance and that generally doesn't work out in the long run. He's gotten a little better but it's still his default coping method. He's a mercenary and pretty secretive/has trust issues, like Samus, but he's not nearly as polished or practiced as she is.
Any unbreakable topics?: Raiden is very fair game because his life is misery and I love making it misery.

Character: Warren aka "Seth Richardson" aka LIAR LIAR PANTS ON FIRE
Habits When Lying?: He's lies all the time and he's very good at it, even with his body language. HOWEVER, he's not perfect, so Apollo might get "mixed signals" if Warren isn't being particularly attentive. Having Apollo study his habits over a long period of time and reading between the lines to find contradictions will probably yeild better results. Like uhhhh... for example check those fish out, next post I make with him I'm going to mention them changing colors (ie he is totally EATING THEM AND REPLACING THEM.) I know I'm probably not being very helpful/describing it well but hopefully I'll be able to give more to work with when tags come and you know you can always snag me and we can work something out.
Any unbreakable topics?: I certainly would not mind exploring/breaking these in the future but FOR NOW:

Habits When Lying?: HE IS SUPER SUBTLE. He'll look away from people and possibly get a little softer in tone, but that's about the most of it. Super subtle.
Any unbreakable topics?: HE'S TOTALLY OPEN except for his feelings about a certain blue hedgehog. Not that he even knows what the hell they are, anyway.

Habits When Lying?: He doesn't really straight-up lie about anything. He'll embellish and stretch the truth to fit his needs sometimes but since he's ~after the truth~ it wouldn't make much sense for him to lie. Um... very much...
He gets easily flustered and more prone to stuttering, long pauses, and/or avoiding eye contact if he's under suspicion of lying/bending the truth. He also likes changing the subject.
Any unbreakable topics?: He's pretty much an open book, I think. The only thing he's ever shown real apprehension about people knowing is his secret Steel Samurai love if I'm remembering correctly so he'll probably be tougher to crack when it comes to that.

Habits When Lying?: Blue doesn't lie very often, and is much more likely just to try and hide something rather than lie about it. She's very open about her feelings though, so Apollo could probably figure out when she was trying to keep something under wraps without his perception checks ha ha ha. It's really obvious. She's really bad at this.
Any unbreakable topics?: Nnnnope.
Character: Bulba
Habits When Lying?: If he's just not sure about something, he tends to glance off to the side or rub the back of his neck. Depending on the lie, he'll either continue this behavior or actually tell it to your face eye to eye (though he generally does not make the eye contact for terribly long). He uses his Jolly nature to hide a lot of things and is good at covering things up with smiles- but those expressions will lack the very subtle laugh lines around his eyes that he gets when he's actually happy.
Any unbreakable topics?: Uhhhh... Crushin' on Green. The circumstances surrounding his ripped petal. I believe everything else is mostly fair game.
Character: Celebi
Habits When Lying?: She has no reason to really lie, and is much more likely to COMPLETELY MAKE UP HABITS to get Polly to think she's lying and turn the whole shebang into a big game, providing she ever knows what he can do.
Any unbreakable topics?: The future \ 8D /
Character: Izzy
Habits When Lying?: She is 100% honest 100% of the time.
Any unbreakable topics?: NOPE.
Character: Vianca
Habits When Lying?: She tends to look down, but she tends to look down for a number of other reasons as well. There is a generally longer pause before she speaks, but she doesn't speak most of the time anyway. I'm sorry.
